What is your jewelry made of?

We primarily use brass, copper and, in some instances, sterling silver.

How do I clean your jewelry?

Brass and copper jewelry will oxidize over time. The beautiful and varied effects of age on brass and copper are part of the appeal in Tiny Anvil’s designs. How an object changes over time will depend on your individual chemistry and environment. It is best to keep jewelry dry and away from contact with chemicals, oils, and liquids. Remove jewelry when applying perfumes, lotions and hair products and while swimming or bathing.

If your piece could use a little perking up, depending on the style of your jewelry, there are some easy tricks to keep it looking great! Using a polishing cloth will lightly clean off excess oxidation. To make brass and copper shiny and bright buff it with fine grade steel wool (#000 or #0000).
